    A random golf fan got a moment to remember on Sunday when CT Pan hired him as his caddy.

    Pan’s bags are normally carried by Mike “Fluff” Cowan, but the veteran caddy slipped while walking down a hill on the third hole and injured himself during the Canadian Open.

    While Pan was taking Cowan to a medic, a fan was identified PGA.com while Paul Emerson volunteered to help the golfer – help which Pan gladly accepted.

    “I helped Fluff take off the bib, threw it over and started walking through the hole,” Emerson said.

    Underneath he wore a pink Masters T-shirt.

    He then shook hands with Pan before settling into his new role, which he played for two holes.

    According to PGA.com, a member of the caddy service team stepped in on the fifth hole for Emerson before being replaced by Al Riddell, Paul Barjon’s caddy, on the 10th hole.

    At the time of writing, Pan was tied for 36th after finishing his fourth round, with an overall score of three under the park.

    Robert MacIntyre had only just started the final round, but leads the field with a -13.

    Pan, 32, has three pro victories, his last being the 2019 RBC Heritage.

    Cowan, meanwhile, has previously cadged for the likes of Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk.
