An American woman has been left red-faced after she mistook a man for country rocker Keith Urban during a boozy night out.
TikTok user Sophia, 22, went viral on Sunday when she uploaded a video documenting the bizarre experience, sharing photos and videos of herself downing tequila shots with the celebrity lookalike.
The video began with a photo of Sophia beaming at the camera alongside the words: ‘I’m just having one drink tonight.’
She then included a blurry photo of a man who resembled Nicole Kidman’s husband smiling in front of a bar.

Next, Sophia and a male friend are seen smiling and drinking shots next to the man, who sported long hair, leather bracelets and tattoos reminiscent of Keith’s trademark style.
The video ended with a screenshot of a text message exchange, in which Sophia had bragged: ‘Me and Keith Urban? We just took tequila shots!’
Acknowledging that the man was not in fact Keith, Sophia jokingly captioned her video: ‘Ok but even sober me thinks that he’s him.’

Sam McGovern, an Australian singer who was on Team Keith during his stint on The Voice in 2022, even poked fun at the video, writing: ‘This is not the man that coached me on The Voice.’
