The singer was detained after a petition to the police from a car dealer who he was owing.
Portable had initiated the purchase of a N27 million G-Wagon from the dealer, making an initial payment and promising to settle the remaining amount soon.
However, he failed to fulfill his promise and claimed that the car had mechanical issues when confronted by the dealer.
Despite being asked to return the vehicle or pay the outstanding balance, the musician allegedly refused to comply.
Subsequently, the dealer involved the police, leading to Portable’s arrest.
