Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Journalist claims soldiers brought back fake iPhone 15 Pro Max sold to them with swelling battery before civilians beat them up in Banex plaza in Abuja. 
Taking to social media, journalist, Abuja Gist, confirmed. 
Abuja Gist wrote: “It’s alleged that They sold fake iPhone 15 pro max for the soldiers. The battery swell up to the point of explosion.

“They brought the phone back that is not a good phone. The owner of the shop report to the police that soldiers are constituting nuisances in his shop.

“The police did not listen to the soldiers own part of the story. They spray the soldiers tear gas. And ask those guys to beat them up That they are fake soldiers, Meanwhile they are military police.”
Daily Trust had reported how a mob descended on at least two soldiers in the markets where electronic gadgets and mobile phones are mostly sold.

The thugs who broke into groups had slapped, kicked and beat up the soldiers in uniform.

Some traders had closed for the day and fled home to apparently avoid being caught up in a reprisal attack.

When contacted over the development, the spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh said the Commissioner of Police, Benett Igweh has deployed officers of the FCT Intelligence Response Team to the scene of the incident.

“The CP has deployed the Intelligence Response Team to the scene,” Adeh confirmed.
