Olympia Valance has broken her silence on Sister Holly Candy’s recent explosive interview, in which she called Donald Trump “fantastic.”
The 41-year-old pop star turned actor praised the controversial former US president and called her home country Australia too “woke” in a shocking interview on GB News’ Chopper political podcast in March.
Now her younger sister, 31, who once followed in her sibling’s footsteps by starring in Neighbors, appeared on HIT WA’s Allan & Carly on Wednesday to distance herself from Holly and her deeply conservative right-wing views.
Olympia told presenters Carly Portch and Allan Aldworth that Holly “rarely” returns to Australia since settling in Britain with her billionaire and British luxury property developer husband Nick Candy.
“My sister and I have very, very different political views,” the Summit star emphasized when asked about Holly’s controversial podcast interview.

She continued, “It was like, ‘Oh my God,’ when she said all those things. I’m like, “Oh God! Everyone’s going to think I think that!” And I do not.’
“She has the right to say the things she wants to say…but yeah, that’s not my opinion on anything.”
Holly also took a stunning swipe at climate activist Greta Thunberg in her explosive interview on Chopper’s Political Podcast last Friday.

The former soap star, who recently rebranded herself as a conservative commentator, didn’t mince her words as she revealed her thoughts on 21-year-old Swedish-born Greta.
The Australian star, known professionally as Holly Valance, told podcast host Christopher Hope: “I don’t understand why you have this demonic little gremlin, high priestess of climatism, as the goddess in the classrooms, Greta,” she said.
‘All the children all come home with depression and anxiety. Why go to your music class, do your homework, or get out of bed if you think we’ll all be dead in five years anyway?’

The mother of two also stated that she has no plans to move back to her Australian homeland, lamenting that the country is “waking up.”
‘The Australia I grew up in was surreal. It was so much fun and we didn’t seem to have all these problems… the woke thing has really become big in Australia,” she said.
Holly elaborated on the ‘woke culture’, pointing to ‘the things they learn in school’: ‘I don’t think sexuality and children should be in the same sentence. I don’t think anyone’s sexuality is anyone’s business. You don’t know anything about mine. I don’t know about you. Why should we?’
The singer was born in Australia, but has British citizenship through her British mother and now lives in London and the Cotswolds.
