After months of build-up, Fury and Usyk will finally settle their differences in Riyadh on Saturday night to determine the best heavyweight in the world.

Tensions have been brewing between the two for months and during the weigh-ins Fury had a heated clash with his Ukrainian counterpart.

However, Fury’s son, Prince John James, appears to have a milder view on the situation and was seen standing next to Usyk just hours before the fight.

In a Instagram post, Prince posed with his fist in the air while the heavyweight star stood with his hands in both pockets.

While Usyk seemed amicable towards Fury’s son, the same cannot be said for his attitude towards the Gypsy King, which was reflected at the weigh-ins.

Tempers flared after both fighters stepped off the scales before the heavyweights faced off and bumped heads on stage.

A fight then broke out with Fury appearing to push Usyk away from him before the pair were pulled away by their respective teams.

Fury then unleashed an angry tirade at a DAZN reporter, shouting: ‘I’m coming for his heart. Fuck his belts, I’m coming for his damn heart.

‘I’m going to knock him out. F*** his whole team, f*** all of them! They can have it all if they want. Damn houses!’

The Gypsy King was also asked how he felt after the confrontation, to which he replied: “I’m ready to rock and roll tonight, I’m going to knock this little spark out.”

The winner of the Saudi showdown will become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999, so it’s shaping up to be a huge fight for both men.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will fight for the undisputed heavyweight title on Saturday

Fury and Usyk sat at a press conference in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, with Fury refusing to confront Usyk, crossing his arms and staring at the crowd in the arena as the Ukrainian stared at him.

When asked why he wasn’t facing Usyk, Fury had told Sky Sports: “He looks scary.”

He added: “I’m just here now to relax and wait until I get in the ring on Saturday night. All the talking is done, all the interviewing is done. I’m very relaxed and focused.’

Usyk said: ‘Let’s make history. Enough.’

The next day there was a lot of confusion after UsykAt Friday’s weigh-in, the weight was incorrectly announced as 233 pounds.

Usyk would have weighed 12.6 pounds heavier than his last fight against Daniel Dubois in August 2023.

Ring announcer Michael Buffer reportedly misunderstood the weight officials said after Usyk stepped on the scale, leading to the wrong figure being announced.

Joshua will be an interested observer after winning his last four fights, knowing he could potentially meet the winner in the next twelve months.

The British star will sit next to Ronaldo, who has shown himself to be an avid boxing fan over the years.
