TikToker Jesse ‘Sunset’ Willesee has made a surprise visit to a Nevada city that is said to be infamous for ‘methheads and motorcycle gangs’.
The social media star, whose mother is American and father is respected Australian journalist Terry Willesee, took to YouTube on Tuesday to share his experiences in Laughlin, Nevada.
The Australian content creator said ever since a fan told him about the riverside gambling town, he was intrigued by it and wanted to visit.
However, he explained that after making a video about the city, many fans warned him not to go, saying it was full of “biker gangs.”
“Don’t go there, it’s full of meth heads and biker gang shootings,” he said, quoting his followers.

But Jesse booked a flight to see for himself and shared a video of his trip to the small town, located in the far south of Nevada, close to the border of California and Arizona.
In the video, he gave insight into his activities as he tried his luck at some slot machines and showed off the view of the Colorado River outside his hotel.
Jesse gave a glowing review of his visit to the city, allaying fans’ concerns and comparing it to the much bigger and glitzier city of Las Vegas.
“They don’t even want you in Vegas. There are so many people, they would rather not have to deal with you,” he said.

‘Here in Laughlin everything is so much more relaxed, everyone is so helpful and accommodating. They’re happy you’re here.’
“That’s not the vibe in Vegas,” he continued. “Vegas is cool, don’t get me wrong. I love Vegas. But there is a chaotic energy in Las Vegas.
‘You never feel very relaxed. And when you’re on holiday, relaxing is an atmosphere I think you want.’
“So for me, it’s just incredible to be here in Laughlin, on the Colorado River with the beautiful desert peaks,” the Tiktoker said.
He gave a glowing review of his visit to the city as he fended off fans who warned him not to visit the city and compared it to the much bigger and glitzier city of Las Vegas.

While in Laughlin, Jesse also visited Outback Steakhouse, an Australiana-themed restaurant chain.
The restaurant chain, first established in the US in 1988, has ‘Australian’ dishes on its menu, including ‘Kookaburra Wings’ (chicken wings in blue cheese dressing), ‘Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp’ (fried shrimp in beer batter) and the famous ‘Blooming Onion’.
“I went there to make a video on how [the Outback Steakhouse] it’s not Australian,” he said.
While in Laughlin, Jesse also visited Outback Steakhouse, an Australiana-themed restaurant chain

‘What I didn’t expect was that it was like this [would be] absolutely delicious.’
Jesse said he had a rib eye steak, but was most impressed with the “Bloomin’ Onion,” a signature dish of the eatery.
The starter, described in the menu as a ‘True Outback original’, consists of ‘hand-cut’ fried onions combined with a spicy sauce specially created by the restaurant.
“The Bloomin’ Onion was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted,” the social media star raved in his review.
He also raved about the staff, giving the Nevada restaurant an “8 out of 10” rating.
