ROMANCE SCAM? Pastor, Emmanuel Akpe, drops statement after being called out for dumping Efe Johnson and 4 other Christian ladies

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Pastor, Emmanuel Akpe, drops statement after being called out for dumping Efe Johnson and 4 other Christian ladies.

Twitter has been on fire since morning as Nigerians are either supporting or dragging pastor Emmanuel Akpe after Serah Ibrahim called him out on the microblogging app.

Serah Ibrahim wrote: “This guy @EmmanuelAkpe meets Christian women here on Twitter, engages them and then use and dumb them few months to the wedding.

“He has done it to more than 4 ladies here on Twitter and now you, and you all continue to allow him to get away with it because he’s a “man of god”. Man of god my foot.
Call his name: EMMANUEL AKPE the romance scam.

“He did same thing to my friend in 2022 and here he is again, and still you people will refuse to call out his name.
Now I have tagged him and given him free publicity, and I hate giving scoundrels free publicity.”

MY TRUTH ( from EMMANUEL AKPE) on the allegation of marriage scamming.

“1. I dated Efe Johnson from November 2022 to October 2023. We did not agree on some foundational marriage issues. It’s been 8 months after we parted ways and she blocked me since then. I can’t see her tweets, I can’t even reach her since October. I am as shocked as everyone.

2. I have never engaged or DATED anybody from Twitter. I have only had 2 relationships. My first relationship with an awesome lady named Grace didn’t work out and we parted ways peacefully (2019-2021). The break up was not the reason she shaved her hair. The second being Efe.

3. I didn’t meet Efe on Twitter, I’ve known Efe as a fellow mentee for more than 3 years, we share the same mentor. I don’t know where the Twitter narrative is coming from.

4. We both entered a marriage-leading relationship which did not end well because we agreed to have kids after 1 year, then she said 3 years and later on said she doesn’t want children at all. I want children and it is important to me.

5. We both had a extensive discussion with our mentor before we decided to call it quits. I also spoke to her mum about this. I never broke up with her via a random text message. This was a week long discussion.

6. I have never scammed anyone before. I run the Bachelor of copywriting course and we have loads of successful graduates with testimonials. While no education program is perfect, the successful testimonials far outweighs the dissatisfied clients. Nevertheless, I am sorry to those who didn’t find value in my course.

7. I have never used the title of “pastor”, neither have I used the title “man of God”. I’ve never used the name of God to defraud anyone. I share my dealings with God on Twitter to help others with their walk with God.

8. Marriage is a beautiful thing and from God. This is will not stop me from believing in this powerful institution. I believe marriage should be enjoyed and not endured.

9. I am fine, I am not disturbed. I can’t track and change what has gone out but I know the truth will also prevail.”
