The Jurgen Klopp era at Liverpool ended with a 2-0 win over Wolves on the final day of the season.
Alexis Mac Allister and Jarrell Quansah scored the goals on a hugely emotional afternoon at Anfield.
Liverpool had plenty of chances to run up the score against ten-man Wolves, but were unable to finish off their opponents with a third.
Klopp will now leave the club after nine seasons, with Reds fans now looking forward to the Arne Slot era.

Alisson Becker-7
Had little to do but stood tall to deter Hwang as he ran through in the first half and eventually got a strong hand on it. Did well to deny Cunha after the break.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 7
Whether committed or as a traditional wing-back, Alexander-Arnold was once again dangerous all the time.
Jarell Quansau – 8
Keeping Ibrahima Konate out of the team on merit with some solid defensive plays. And he has also become a goal threat, this being his second in two games.
Virgil van Dijk – 6.5 (booked)
Showed his impressive ability as Cunha threatened to run past him and scored late in the first half. Coaches young Quansah through the game – not that he needs it.

Andy Robertson-7.5
Made some decisive early passes and was a live wire down Liverpool’s left side, always causing problems. Moment of fear as he crashed injured but recovered.
Harvey Elliott-7.5
Jurgen Klopp says his biggest regret of his time is not playing Elliott enough, but he has been a crucial member of the team in recent weeks. Beautiful cross for Liverpool’s opener.
Wataru Endo-7
The Japan captain was missed when he was substituted at Aston Villa on Monday as Liverpool lost control from that point on. Decent afternoon here again.
Alexis Mac Allister – 8 MOTM
A very good first season at Anfield ended with a nice goal and a nice header. It came after a nice run of the ball saw him arrive late in the penalty area.

Mohamed Salah was dangerous throughout but missed a final product in the first half

Dangerous throughout but lacked end product in the first half, botching one counter-attack when Liverpool had a numerical advantage.
Cody Gakpo-7
Made a nice header to tap the ball in front of Quansah’s goal and created some nice moments in the build-up. Had a poor shot when he was in a good position in the first half and should have done better just before the hour mark when picked out in the penalty area.
Luis Diaz-7
Like Salah, he lacked the end product in key moments. Early in the second half he hit the crossbar, shot straight at Sa early on and his final ball sometimes let him down. But otherwise a dangerous display.

He made some good saves – the best of the group came in the second half against Gakpo – and had to hold his ground to avoid Liverpool’s attacks at times. Couldn’t do much about the objectives.

Made some nice blocks but the Wolves backline was often stretched. Occasionally mopped well and covered the correct channel.
Max Kilman-5
Made some decisive interceptions and blocks. I would always have to deal with it, especially after the red card.
Toti – 5.5 (booked)
Salah often clung to him and he struggled at times when the Egyptian found himself between Toti and left-back Ait-Nouri.
Nelson Semedo – 3 (sent off)
Sent off early for a bad tackle on Mac Allister. It was probably not malicious, but it was mistimed and could have caused injury. Let his team down.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde-5
Played a nice cross to Hwang in the first half but could not get into the game offensively.
Mario Lemina-6
Made some strong interceptions and tackles but Liverpool had the upper hand for the most part.
Joao Gomes – 6.5
There was pressure and pressure in Wolves’ midfield, but after the red card they were often overrun.
Rayan Ait-Nouri-7
Tough afternoon against Salah and Alexander-Arnold at his side. Made some good clearances at the back post. Did little going forward until the 68th minute when he rounded Alisson and fed Cunha, but the chance was clumsy.

Nice run after 17 minutes when he was poked through on goal but wasn’t decisive enough and Alisson saved.
Matheus Cunha-7
A livewire into Wolves’ attack but missed the clinical edge. Ran beautifully past Van Dijk in the first half and wanted a penalty, but was perhaps not strong enough.
