Michelle Troconis sobs as Jennifer Dulos’ heartbroken kids speak out for first time at sentencing

Jennifer Dulos’ teenage sons have asked the Venezuelan socialite who plotted her murder to tell them where their mother’s body is, as they delivered heartbreaking speeches at her sentencing hearing.

Jennifer was 50 when she was brutally attacked by her estranged husband Fotis Dulos at her Connecticut home on May 24, 2019, after returning from dropping off their five children at school.

Fotis was accused of her murder, but committed suicide prior to the trial, leaving the children orphaned. In March this year, his former girlfriend, glamorous Venezuelan former TV presenter Michelle Troconis, was found guilty of helping to cover up the crime.

Her sentencing will be streamed live from Stamford, but Judge Kevin A. Randolph banned the media from showing Jennifer’s children. Cameras instead showed Troconis, 49, breaking down in tears as the oldest Dulos children spoke.

Theodore Dulos, 18, branded Troconis “evil, violent and most certainly a coward” and demanded she tell them where their mother’s body is, while his twin brother Petros said she had “helped destroy” their family.

Theodore turned to Troconis and said, “You will spend the next few years behind bars, and this will give you time to think about what you have done.

‘Every day you wake up in a small cell with not much to do. You have many years to think about what you know you have done.

“If you have even the slightest bit of humanity, I suggest you let us all know exactly what happened that day and where my mother is.

“Do the right thing, Michelle, admit to your family what you did instead of trying to uphold your family’s pride.”

“I will never forgive you for what you did, and until you give us more answers, you will be seen as evil, violent and certainly a coward,” he added.

Theodore appealed to Judge Randolph to impose the maximum prison sentence, adding: “An appropriate sentence, Your Honor, would be 50 years – 10 years for each child who lost a mother that day. May my mother rest in peace.’

On disembowelling Troconis, who has a daughter the same age, Petros added: ‘Your Honor, I understand that there is a mother sitting there with a child, and a family that loves her.

‘My mother had that once. We once had that. She helped destroy it. That woman appeals to our compassion under the guise of motherhood. She has desecrated the meaning of that word to me.

“The defendant’s actions in the conspiracy to kill my mother have had irreparable consequences on my life, which I continue to learn about every day,” he added.

“I’ve left a hole inside me that I know I’ll never be able to fill.

‘The loss of my mother tore me from the joyful innocence of my youth and exposed me to the horrors of the world at an early age.

‘I want to end with a lesson my mother taught me: leave everything the same or better than you found it. Michelle Troconis, you did the opposite and should be punished.”

Petros added that his mother was “everything” to him, but during her bitter divorce “he became very bitter towards everyone – especially towards mother, because she always tried to help me.”

“This meant I was hurting the person closest to me because I didn’t know how else to express my pain,” he said.

“Because of the defendant’s actions, I will never be able to tell my mother how sorry I am for not being a better son when she needed me.

‘I will never be able to tell my mother how proud I am of her courage, and especially how much I love her. This fact haunts me every day.’

‘There are feelings and thoughts that I will never be able to express again, because my mother was the key to those parts of me.

‘I’m angry that I will never know the man I would have become if my mother was still there to guide me.

“She was my hero, and now I often feel lost without her reassuring smile and her meaningful discussions.

“I wish I could share my victories with her, but I can’t because she’s gone. I wish I knew she was sitting in the stands watching me play.

“I wish I could come home and show her my grades and feel a genuine sense of pride in me that I only got from her.

“I wish she could see me grow from a boy to a young man. I wish I could hug Mom again, but I can’t right now.’

Troconis rubbed her eyes and cried as she sat among her lawyers as they listened to the teens.

Jennifer’s mother, Gloria Farber, 88, who gave heartbreaking testimony earlier in the trial, said her daughter’s friends had helped care for her five orphaned children in “blended families.”

Gloria added that during her final years, her daughter “lived in fear for her life and feared that her husband would kidnap her children.”

Jennifer’s older sister, Melissa Farber, remembered her as a “beautiful and dear sister,” a “talented writer and a beautiful person.”

She also recalled feeling “shocked to the core” the day Jennifer died before they even heard the devastating news.

“At 8:45 on the morning of May 24, 2019, I woke up with a start,” Melissa told the court. “I didn’t realize at the time that my sister Jennifer’s life was coming to an end, but there was something inside me that was shocked to my core.”

The prosecutor criticized Troconis for “not showing any remorse.” The judge will sentence Troconis later today. Her sentencing hearing continues.
