Lane Cove River: Body of man aged in his 50s found in Sydney river

    Officers from North Shore Police Area Command believe the body is that of a man in his 50s.

    A crime scene has been cordoned off and detectives have launched an investigation into the incident.

    As investigations continue, police are urging anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage or information about the incident to contact Chatswood Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

    The police will prepare a report for the information of the coroner.
