Katy Perry got emotional as she took the stage for her final episode as a judge on ABC’s American Idol on Sunday.
The 39-year-old pop superstar wore a strapless and sleeveless metallic top with seven roses throughout her seven seasons on the show, along with a long white skirt as she held hands with fellow judges Luke Bryan, 47, and Lionel Richie, 74 , while being introduced by host Ryan Seacrest, 49.
“Are you crying?” Ryan asked after Katy bowed her head.
“We’re going to miss you,” Ryan said as he hugged Katy.
“I’m already emotional tonight,” he added.

“Katy is a mess,” Luke said.
Katy, Luke and Lionel then acknowledged screaming fans in the audience before taking their seats for the live show.
The three-hour finale saw finalists Abi Carter, Jack Blocker and Will Moseley battle it out to win season 22.
Jon Bon Jovi, 62, served as a special mentor for the finalists during the three-hour finale.

Jimmy, 56, asked Katy if she would stay on American Idol as long as possible.
“You know, actually this fall in September I’m going to do this huge music festival in Brazil called Rock In Rio. It’s really exciting,” Katy began her answer.
‘It’s a big problem. It’s a big deal for people all over the world, especially for my Brazilian fans. I think this will probably be my last show, my last season for Idol. I mean, I love Idol so much,” she added.

The singer, real name Katheryn Hudson, joined American Idol for the reboot in 2018 when the singing competition moved from its original home on Fox to ABC.
Katy has three-year-old daughter Daisy Dove with her fiancé Orlando Bloom, 47.
Orlando and Daisy were in the audience last week for Disney Night where Katy was dressed as Cinderella.
