Joe Biden invites the Chiefs to the White House on May 31 to celebrate Super Bowl win – less than two weeks after Harrison Butker said he supports ‘murder of innocent babies’

President Joe Biden has invited the Kansas City Chiefs to the White House on May 31 to celebrate their second straight Super Bowl triumph

President Joe Biden invited the Kansas City Chiefs to the White House on May 31 to celebrate their second consecutive Super Bowl triumph earlier this year.

The Chiefs regained the upper hand in the NFL’s showpiece in February after pulling out a dramatic overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Three months after that game, Kansas City players have been invited to the White House, where Biden is eager to celebrate their historic victory.

It means the president is set for a tough meeting with Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, who recently challenged his stance on abortion.

Butker caused major controversy with his recent speech at Benedictine College, where he claimed he supported the ‘murder of innocent babies’.
