Miller, 30, was discovered on April 27 at Lumber River State Park in Robeson County, North Carolina, just days after serving husband John-Paul Miller, 44, aka “JP,” with divorce papers. Federal, state and local officials are still investigating.

Charlotte Korn, Mica’s best friend, speaks in a YouTube video about a phone call she had with John-Paul the day he told the Solid Rock congregation at Market Common Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina that Mica died .

Korn found it strange that she was so high on the priority list to call, especially since she already knew Mica had died, but what he said after exchanging pleasantries surprised her.

“He told her she had to go to work, so she went and bought a gun and then drove to Lumberton. I thought she’d see you.’

Korn made it clear that there was no plan for Mica to visit her, which she said “sent a shiver down my spine because it felt like she was watching her.”

She believes that John-Paul was in fact tracking Mica’s movements and had her followed in the past.

‘He’s had a habit of stalking her. That’s what it sounded like to me.’

Korn has said she will “absolutely” testify to the same things she has said in interviews if asked at trial.

Mica, 30, was found dead at Lumber River State Park in North Carolina on April 27 after a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

It was revealed that she had committed suicide days after serving Miller with divorce papers, and officials have ruled her death a suicide.

But Mica’s friends and family have since urged authorities to further investigate her death, as they publicly called for “justice for Mica” and local police called in the FBI to help.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that they had contacted the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the early stages of the investigation for assistance in investigating Mica’s death.

The investigation surrounding Miller’s husband John-Paul continues after it was revealed earlier Monday that he had written a venomous email to his estranged wife before her death, saying he wanted to ‘attack and cause pain’.

John-Paul Miller is accused in court documents of grooming Mica for years before they married, taking her to the hospital to steal her car, and cheating on his first wife with underage churchgoers.

In affidavits from Mica’s family, they express concern about her relationship with Miller, who has been described by those who know him as a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” and a “false prophet.”

The pastor gave an emotional 20-minute speech during a memorial service at Solid Rock Church on May 5.

Weeks before her death, Mica had shared a video in which she spoke about spousal abuse after claims emerged that she was being harassed and was ‘afraid for her life’.

She said, “Today my heart is a little heavy. I’ve had a lot of women contact me about abusive situations, and I just want to tell you what a lot of people have been telling me lately because I think I’ve forgotten.

“But you are Christ’s bride before anyone else’s, male or female, it doesn’t matter what gender you are, abuse is abuse.”

The pastor sent a series of disturbing text messages intimidating and threatening his wife and her family during a bitter row almost two years before their marriage collapsed.
