Camila Cabello’s dating coach ex Matthew Hussey had made headlines again after the Senorita pop star recently opened up about losing her virginity to him.
The 27-year-old singer was in a relationship with the romance specialist from 2018 to 2019 and described the experience with her first boyfriend as ‘wonderful’.
The 36-year-old British life coach and the Havana singer struck up a romance after meeting on the set of Today in February 2018, admitting she was a fan of his before dating and had listened to his relationship advice podcast.
While Matthew is touted as the dating guru, his own love life was shrouded in mystery – until his romance with Camila was made public.

Camila opened up about her first real relationship with Matthew, then around 30, and admitted she hadn’t had sex ‘at all’ until she was 20 when they met.
‘No. That was the first time I had sex. The first sex was at the age of 20 or 21. … It was literally making out. It was beautiful,” she revealed on the Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.
Camila added that her former boyfriend’s experience as a relationship coach “honestly made him a great partner.”
‘He was a really wonderful person. It was like the perfect first relationship. It really expanded my world because he wasn’t in my industry either,” she explained.

The couple got engaged in February 2022 after maintaining a long-distance relationship between Los Angeles and London.
He remembers flying from the US to Britain to propose to his then girlfriend.
“I had the ring with me and I knew I wanted to do it while I was in London, but I didn’t know when,” he told the About the moon blog in November 2023.
“There was a moment where she was sitting on our bed in her pajamas, and for some reason I just felt the urge to do it there and then. All I remember is her smile, her big eyes and her excited words: “What?! Really?!” over and over as I waited for her to say yes. There was also some jumping on the bed!

She pretended – for the one and only time in our relationship – that she was interested in boxing and asked me questions about it. It worked. We didn’t talk to anyone else for the rest of the evening.’
Camila then dated singer Shaun Mendes, with whom she sang on their hit Senorita from 2019 to 2021.
She then spent a year working for tech CEO Austin Kevitch, who founded the Jewish dating app Lox.
