However, many fans believe the show has ‘run its course’ and are calling for the Nine ratings to be scrapped.
Viewers took to social media to condemn the hit after rumors spread earlier this week that the home renovation show was on the verge of cancellation.
However, a spokesperson for Nine told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday that The Block was not in any threat of being canned.
“Despite the speculation, The Block is not being canceled,” they emphasized.

Despite these claims, fans insist that the show has already exhausted its appeal.
They also condemned the edits for focusing too much on “fights” between the Blockheads.
“It’s run its course I’m afraid,” said one Facebook user.
They continued, “Things always have an expiration date.”

“It’s over,” said one fan, who continued: “Overvalued, overpriced houses [an] ordinary working people can’t afford it.’
“This is the best news,” another armchair critic rejoiced, adding:
‘I hate Het Blok. It should have ended years ago.”

Another former fan directed his anger at the show’s producers for losing touch with the audience.
“The producers’ blame has become far too personal,” they wrote on Facebook.
‘Terrible, disrespectful attitude and egos, stopped watching when it was no longer about renovating. Sad was my favorite [show] years ago.’
Fans insist the show’s format has exhausted its appeal. They also condemned the edits for focusing too much on “fights” between the Blockheads.
Meanwhile, a devoted fan was willing to defend the show and dismissed the fan-fueled rumor that the show was on the line.
“Wow, so much hate for the show,” they shared on Facebook.
‘If you don’t like it, don’t watch. You don’t have to mention it to be deleted. There’s an audience for everything.’

Realestate.com.au reported on Monday that rumors about The Block’s longevity began after judge Neale Whitaker announced he was leaving the show earlier this month, leaving the cast devastated.
Neale confirmed he will no longer be a regular at the hit. Last year he took on a limited role as a judge to support his partner David as he faced serious health problems.
However, the fan favorite is expected to make guest appearances in the upcoming season alongside judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and newcomer Marty Fox.
The acclaimed interior designer’s departure comes after Keith Schleiger, aka Foreman Keith, confirmed his role would be scaled back to a guest role in the new series.
The reality star, 50, revealed he made the tough decision after deciding the long travel times to Philip Island for filming would keep him away from his two daughters.
And the show suffered another setback just a few weeks into filming when a few contestants quit.
