DJ Akademiks Faces Lawsuit Alleging Rape, Sexual Assault, and Defamation

DJ Akademiks, born Livingston Allen, has been served with a lawsuit alleging rape, sexual assault, and defamation by his purported ex-girlfriend, Fauziya Abashec, aka “Ziya.” The complaint, first reported by Rolling Stone, reveals troubling details about the claimed assault, which occurred in 2022.

Abashec states that after meeting Akademiks in 2001, she began dating him and was invited to his home in 2002, expecting to see only him. However, when she arrived, she was approached by two unidentified guys who allegedly drugged and assaulted her on the Akademiks’ pool deck. Furthermore, she accuses Akademiks of sexually assaulting her later that night, despite her repeated requests to stop.

According to Rolling Stone, Abashec claims the pills impaired her memory and caused her to lose consciousness throughout the assault. She claims that Akademiks woke her up and then savagely raped her. Abashec also claims that Akademiks showed her CCTV footage from the alleged attack, which made her feel “lifeless.”

The lawsuit details Abashec’s efforts to seek justice, which included contacting the police, undertaking a rape kit investigation that allegedly revealed traces of Akademiks’ sperm, and recording an admission of the attack during a wire call with Akademiks.

However, instead of filing criminal charges, Abashec decided to pursue a lawsuit after incomplete facts of the incident appeared on social media. In a YouTube video called “Storytime with Ak!” DJ Akademiks exposes his ex Chey and comes out against her attempting to tarnish his image! Akademiks allegedly made defamatory claims regarding the incident, forcing Abashec to initiate legal action.

DJ Akademiks has not responded to the lawsuit’s allegations or proof. Meek Mill, a rapper, responded to the charges by calling him a “rapist type couch potato.”

The lawsuit against DJ Akademiks is a sharp reminder of the need to hold people accountable for their acts and offering support to survivors of sexual assault. As the investigation progresses, the public anticipates further information and justice for the claimed victim, Fauziya Abashec.
