The actress. 30, posed on the roof of London’s Claridge’s hotel in her ensemble to promote her new film, The Watched.
She stood with her arm around the director, Ishana Night Shyamalan, 22, who wore a cropped sweater over a matching corset and wide-leg pants.
A new trailer for the film showed Dakota as a character named Mina artist, 28, in Ireland whose road trip ends when her car breaks down in a creepy forest.
After a call for help is made, a terrifying roar is heard that upsets the wildlife, which runs away in fear.

Mina runs there and she and her pet bird soon find themselves in some kind of laboratory with two other prisoners, who are being watched by aliens.
She learns from fellow prisoner Ciara, played by Georgina Campbell, that their captors are watching them through “a window on the other side.” They come every evening.’
“And they’re watching us,” adds Olwen Fouéré’s Madeline about the mysterious aliens none of them have seen.
Mina is determined to break free and looks for ways to escape.
“They let us live because we follow their rules, and you’ve broken too many of them,” Madeline warns.

M. Night Shyamalan serves as producer on the project.
The night before, Dakota looked incredible as she attended the Watched VIP screening at the Ham Yard Hotel in London.
She stepped out in a midnight blue scarf dress by Erdem Moralioglu.
Her elegant garment, designed in tribute to opera singer Maria Callas, showed off her stunning figure as it hugged her petite frame at the waist.
She paired her vintage-inspired floral floor-length dress with a pair of simple black satin stilettos and accessorized with a chain bracelet.
Dakota appeared in top spirits for the evening as she posed confidently on the red carpet with her co-stars Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan and director Ishana Shyamalan.

She has experience behind the camera working on the Apple TV+ series Servant as a writer, producer and director.
According to the Warner Bros website: ‘The film follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist, who becomes stranded in a vast, unspoilt forest in western Ireland.
‘When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped next to three strangers who are watched and chased every night by mysterious creatures.
“You can’t see them, but they see everything.”

Dakota can currently be seen in another thriller, Ripley, on Netflix.
Emmy winner Andrew Scott, 47, stars as the title character in the black-and-white series based on the novels by Patricia Highsmith.
Ripley has an 82 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
