    The 91-year-old comedy actress – who recently reflected on her time in Hollywood – wore an all-black outfit to the event.

    Carol dazzled in a blazer with a shiny finish and matching trousers.

    Her suit jacket was worn over a turtleneck and she added a pair of understated black shoes.

    Burnett, who has been friends with the 84-year-old American fashion designer for decades, wore silver jewelry.

    The entertainment industry icon wore her short blonde hair neatly styled with a soft bobble at the end.

    She wore small earrings and a long necklace.

    Mackie was the costume designer for The Carol Burnett Show and, according to him, created more than 16,000 outfits during its 11-year run. MeTV.com.

    “I think his genius lies not just in doing the pretty things, but in doing the funny things,” Burnett reportedly said of Bob in a 1975 interview with The Daily Times.

    His new documentary features highlights from his illustrious career, including his collaborations with stars like Cher.

    The film follows his life and work, showcasing his unforgettable costumes and his resonant impact on show business.

    During his many years as a designer, the renowned fashion expert has enjoyed legendary collaborations with stars such as Pink, RuPaul and Miley Cyrus.

    The film also discusses his nine Emmy Award wins, Tony Award wins, three Oscar nominations and other career highlights.

    “I can’t even count the contributions he’s made,” Burnett said elsewhere in the interview.

    She added, “There have been many times when he has saved me in a sketch. I’ve been struggling with a character all week and then he comes up with an outfit that makes it fall into place.”

    According to MeTV, Mackie produced 65 to 70 costumes for the sketch show each week, plus 10-20 pieces for his other A-list clients.

    He has collaborated with Diana Ross, Lucille Ball, Jane Fonda and many more.
