Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left divided over the two acts who were put through to the final after the first live show on Monday.
Monday’s live semi-final saw opera singer Innocent Massuki go straight to Sunday’s final after the public vote, while the judges chose Sslaubi Performance Troupe as the second act to clinch a place.
Fans of the show were blown away by Innocent’s vocal prowess, calling him an “absolute star,” while others called Sslaubi’s performance “mesmerizing.”
But the two chosen finalists divided viewers, with some complaining that the South African singer and the Korean martial arts group were not British.
This year’s talent show was inundated with complaints about international acts invited to audition for the show, and viewers on Monday were no different as they took to social media to express their frustrations.

Another fact that angered viewers was that already established acts were auditioning.
Fans said, ‘Stop flying in these already established acts. Both are already famous in their countries. The imposter lady lost before and trained again and came back and didn’t chase the head, it’s a joke now’;
‘Talent shows should not include professionals. Innocent is an incredible opera singer but shouldn’t be in the show, whose ivories are tickled by Elton John in tomorrow’s semi.’
However, many viewers did not echo these sentiments and were elated that Innocent and Sslaubi survived.

After six weeks of auditions, the live semi-finals got underway as eight acts battled it out in the hope of securing a valuable spot in Sunday’s grand final.
A further eight contestants will perform each night of the week before the final, with two acts from each night going ahead – one determined by public vote and the second determined by the judges.
However, many viewers did not echo these sentiments and were elated that Innocent and Sslaubi survived

The winner will receive a life-changing cash prize of £250,000 and a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.
The eight acts who performed Monday night were Sven Smith, The Trickstars, Trey Braine, Sslaubi Performance Troupe, Taryn Charles, Bikoon, Stardust and Innocent Masuku.
Another feature of Monday night’s semi-final that confused viewers was that there were so many golden buzzer acts, three of which were in one show: Sslaubi Performance Troupe, Taryn Charles and Duo Stardust.
Viewers said: ‘Are they doing all the golden buzzers tonight? Seems strange’; ‘Tonight’s show is going to be crazy with the Golden Buzzer acts,’;
‘At this rate you might as well call it the Golden Buzzer show, with a man in a bag,’;
‘Most of the golden buzzers are on tonight, I noticed’; ‘I haven’t seen the auditions. How many golden buzzers are there?! Last time I saw they had one each and one out in each semi-final?!’;
‘Every act tonight is a golden buzzer act?? this show is stupid,’; “Are they all just golden buzzer acts at this point?”
Earlier in the show, Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer act suffered a blow after he brutally attacked them.

Viewers were left stunned when he told Ukrainian stunt roller skaters Duo Stardust that he was disappointed in their performance, prompting fans of the series to ask if the apparently mild talent show judge’s sour tongue had returned.
Married couple Vlada and Yevhenii were voted by Simon as his second Golden Buzzer act during Sunday’s episode, but they were kicked out of the competition by the viewing public after not receiving enough votes on Monday.
In their first audition in front of the judges – Simon, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli – Yevhenii spun Vlada by her ankles as she circled on his skates, before they were lifted into the air on a high wire like fireworks. back of Vlada’s skates lit up the theater.
During Monday’s live semi-final, viewers on social media said the pair were their winners, but Simon had a different opinion, saying he felt let down despite them throwing panelist Bruno into the air as part of their act.
Simon said: ‘This was great. It wasn’t as good as the audition though.’
As the crowd booed him, Simon continued: “I’m disappointed and I’ll tell you why. I think you let the production overshadow your talent tonight, which is a real shame.”
