Right-back Cedric Soares, midfielder Mohamed Elneny and goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo are almost certain departures for the Gunners this summer as their contracts expire at the end of June.

Elsewhere, some of Arsenal’s youth stars are also likely to leave this summer, with the north London side expected to attract interest in Nketiah, Smith-Rowe and Nelson.

All three have attracted significant interest from the Premier League, with Nelson having been eyed by clubs abroad in the past.

Plays on loan to Bundesliga club Hoffenheim and Eredivise player Feyenoord respectively.

Many fans may be shocked to find Emile Smith Rowe on Arsenal’s list of potential departures this summer, as he has long been a fan favourite.

However, the 23-year-old has struggled to fulfill his potential since breaking into the first team as an academy player.

Aston Villa could be one of the strong contenders to land the young Gunner as they have long been admirers of the midfielder.

Arsenal have rejected two bids from the residents of Villa Park in 2021.

The departure of some players from Arsenal’s youth academy would help the North London derby immensely in their bid to stay within the guidelines of the Premier League PSR rules, with the sale of Nkettah, Smith-Rowe and Nelson a profit of 100 percent would reflect.

That would be a huge help for the Premier League title challengers to balance their financial books ahead of another transfer wave.

Given that Arsenal are ready to back Arteta with another substantial budget for this summer’s transfer window.
