    She admitted she has now ‘fallen in love’ with driving, and revealed she is looking forward to finally getting her driving licence.

    Speaking to Tyler West during a segment on Lorraine, Anya and Chris talked about their exciting new film.

    Tyler said:So every scene started with starting your engines. And Anya, you don’t have a driver’s license. How do you like this movie?’

    Anya replied: “They just threw me in the car and said you’re going to do this. I was like, “Okay.” It’s nice that the first thing I learned was in a car [stunts].

    ‘I fell in love with it, I want to get my regular driver’s license, I want to get my stunt driver’s license. It’s a really fun way to learn to drive.’

    At the Cannes Film Festival, Furiosa received a six-minute standing ovation, which left Chris a little teary-eyed.

    After the ovation, director George Miller said: ‘We worked very hard on this film and it will be very interesting to see what you think. Thanks for letting us come by.’

    In Furiosa, Chris plays warlord leader Dementus, and Anya plays Furiosa, and it is set between 15 and 20 years before the events of Mad Max: Fury Road.

    The synopsis reads: ‘Furiosa is torn from the green patch of many mothers and falls into the hands of a large horde of bikers led by warlord Dementus.

    “As they journey through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel, presided over by the Immortan Joe. As the two tyrants fight for power, Furiosa soon becomes embroiled in a non-stop battle to find her way home.’

    The post-apocalyptic action-adventure film is the fifth in the Mad Max franchise and comes nine years after Fury Road.

    The Fury Road prequel was one of the most anticipated premieres at Cannes this year.

    Filming for Furiosa took place in New South Wales, Australia, starting in June 2022 and ending in October.

    The fifth installment of the “Mad Max” franchise opens May 24 in theaters in the United States at Warner Bros., which hopes the film will match the $380 worldwide box office of “Fury Road” ( or exceed). With a budget of $168 million, ‘Furiosa’ will have to do big business to make a profit.

    George, who created the “Mad Max” franchise and directed all five 1979 films.

    On one show, Anya revealed that only one scene in Furiosa is a staggering 78 days to film.

    On average, entire Hollywood films are shot within 30 to 120 days.

    She said of the scene with Chris: “We shot it for 78 days, 78 days!” Anya said. ‘Yes. It’s called Stowaway. It was 100 percent the mountain we were all trying to climb.”
