The actress’ outing comes just weeks after her two fans finally settled a bizarre lawsuit they filed with Universal Pictures.
In 2022, two fans sued the company after using actress Ana in a trailer for the 2019 film Yesterday but removing her from the film.
Peter Rosza and Conor Woulfe, two devoted fans, sued Universal Pictures in 2022, claiming they spent $3.99 to rent yesterday after seeing the actress in a trailer.
Despite appearing in the trailer, her role was cut from the film entirely, leading to Peter and Conor suing the studio for $5 million for false advertising.
Peter and Conor achieved one legal victory, with a judge allowing the case to proceed in December 2022 and it has now been settled.
No terms of the settlement were disclosed and it is unclear whether any money actually changed hands, despite the enormous sums requested by both sides.

The film Yesterday was released in 2019, following a struggling musician named Jack (Himesh Patel) who is hit by a bus one day.

Brazilian actress Ana was initially set to play a woman vying for Jack’s affection, appearing in a brief role late in the film.
While scenes shot with De Ana were used in the trailer, director Danny Boyle ultimately decided to scrap the character altogether after her arc failed to connect with test screening audiences.
Ana did not appear in the completed film, which earned a whopping $154.6 million worldwide on a $26 million budget.
Despite this legal victory, which allowed the case to move forward, the class action attorneys failed to provide data that would constitute an actual class for the lawsuit.
Then, in August 2023, a judge dismissed the class action status, meaning the false advertising case could only move forward with the two plaintiffs – dropping the value of the case from an expected $5 million to $7.98 – and the costs of the rental prices.
The studio then filed a motion to have the plaintiffs cover the studio’s legal fees, which they calculated at $672,000, although they offered a “generous” deduction of $472,000.
The judge reduced it even further to $126,705, with Universal offering to settle, although the plaintiffs’ lead attorney, Cody R. LeJeune, hinted that they were still fighting.
He filed multiple discovery requests, while his former co-counsel, Matthew A. Pequignot, filed a settlement offer of his own, stating that his clients would drop the lawsuit for a lump sum of $750,000.
Universal’s attorneys were not amused when Stephanie Herrera wrote, “The attorneys who have been pursuing and poring over this frivolous case for two years are trying to pressure Universal into making a huge monetary payment (without legal or factual basis) to end a case that now no longer exists. worth $7.98.”
She then asked the judge for an additional $43,000 for “abuse of the discovery process,” with a hearing scheduled for April 30 and the trial set to begin on May 21.
Both parties filed a joint notice of settlement on Friday that would see the case dismissed entirely in April
